Guardian is happy to support our local organizations, groups, and events with donations and sponsorships that help enrich the community. Our contributions include employee volunteers, monetary donations and other sponsorships. Please read below for guidelines and eligibility.
While Guardian would like to be able to fill each request for support, it is not feasible to do so. We must limit the scope of our support to levels that are responsible and in the best interest of the community. These guidelines do not cover every possibility, special need or opportunity, and exceptions may be made while considering the purpose for making donations.
The event/organization must be located in one of the 13 counties that Guardian Serves; however, state-wide or national causes may also be considered.
All donation requests should be submitted through the online application provided below at least six weeks prior to the event. Additional information regarding the organization or event requesting sponsorship may be submitted to GCUmarketing@myguardiancu.com. If you choose to send more information via email, this must be in addition to the form below.
Please note the following items/purposes are generally outside the scope of Guardian’s donation guidelines:
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
- Organizations that do not benefit the Guardian communities
- Specific political campaigns
- Student Trips or exchange programs
- Family Reunions
All requests are reviewed by Guardian’s Marketing Department. A response will be given within a month of receiving the request.
