Guardian offers two types of
Certificates of Deposit (CD)

Our CDs offer many different terms and rates for you to choose from.

Traditional CD:

A Traditional Certificates of Deposit is a great way to put money away that you shouldn’t touch until its maturity date.

The purpose of a Traditional CD is for your money to make money as it matures.

Pick the length of desired earning time with a CD.

This is great way to earn higher dividends on money that you do not need access to for an allotted period of time.

Education Savings Account (ESA) CD:

Start saving now for educational expenses with an Education Savings Account (ESA) CD.

It has a low opening balance requirement and deposits can be made into the account up to the $2,000 annual limit.

Contributions to ESA CDs are not tax-deductible, but dividends grow on a tax-deferred basis and withdrawals for qualified education expenses are tax-free.

ESA CDs can be established for a child by anyone, and contributions to the account can also be made by anyone.
