Guardian’s desire is to help growing, local communities thrive. One way we have found where we can help these communities is through promoting tourism.

Guardian is excited to support local economic activity and growth through sponsoring events that bring out-of-town visitors to shop, eat and stay in these cities.

One of the largest events we've had the opportunity to take part in is the Guardian Championship. It brings with it 120+ professional women's golfers into the city of Prattville to compete on one of the world's best courses at Robert Trent Jones at Capitol Hill.

The Epson Tour’s mission is to prepare the world’s best young women professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour.

The impact of the Guardian Championship extends outside just the world of golf, and into the overall community in Prattville, Alabama.

“It's great to have a dual partnership with Guardian Credit Union and Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill to host the Epson Tournament Guardian Championship,” said Prattville Mayor, Bill Gillespie, Jr.
“Being selected to host the many world-class lady golfers in Prattville, Alabama, is a true honor and a testament to the high-caliber golf opportunity in our community.”

Golf is a huge part of Alabama and the River Region’s history, and being involved in this tournament has allowed us to pour into our community in a very unique and exciting way.
