2. Activate your debit card.
3. Sign up for online banking.
4. Download the Guardian mobile app.
5. Change deposits, withdrawals and payments.
If you have direct deposits set up with your employer and automatic withdrawals or payments set up with service companies or financial institutions, just change your account numbers to pull from your new Guardian account or contact the depositor or payee. It’s smart to check your previous month’s checking account statement to make sure you change all relevant accounts/transactions.
